HC3 News Feed Now Published on Apple News
Apple News, an aggregator of news from top media outlets to independent publishers has a new addition to its health communication content.
The Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) is now publishing on the Apple News platform.
This additional mode of content distribution allows HC3 to expand its publishing reach and promote the importance of social and behavior change communication to the millions of iOS users.
Those with Apple Mobile devices (iPhones or iPads with iOS 9.0 or later), can view the news feed within the News app that comes installed on all devices.
Apple News allows readers to avoid the hassle of opening individual news apps and/or moving from one app to another by collecting news feeds from publishers and customizing reading in one place. As readers use the app, Apple News begins to understand the content most interesting to them and customizes the feed in an attractive way, delivering relevant articles for online or offline viewing.
With Apple’s signature design aesthetic, articles are presented with captivating photos and typography. In the HC3 feed, blog posts and accompanying images are featured as well as tagged for cross-promotion within the News app. For example, this recent HC3 Zika post pulls in related topical articles on Zika and regionally focused articles on Latin America.
Add the HC3 content feed to your Apple News app by clicking here while on your device, or by searching “Health Communication Capacity Collaborative”.
