Connecting Electronically for Impact on the Ground
On November 5 and 6, 2013, HC3 hosted French- and English-language webinars on urban youth sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and social behavior change communication (SBCC) programming.
The webinars complemented discussions from HC3’s October Washington, DC SRH-SBCC evidence exchange, but allowed for a more in-depth look into field perspectives on these topics. Overall, the online forums allowed participants in field locations such as Tanzania and Mali to share their queries and experiences with HC3 and USAID staff in the United States, and with youth presenters and SRH-SBCC program animators in/from Bénin and Rwanda. Additionally, the results of a forthcoming literature review on SBCC SRH interventions for youth in urban settings were shared by HC3 consultant Alessia Radice. The full literature review report is anticipated for completion and posting on HC3’s website by late November or early December.
