Health Communication Capacity Collaborative Cote d’Ivoire launches HIV testing campaign ahead of World Cup
Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) Cote d’Ivoire has launched two new TV spots ahead of the World Cup as part of its Prevention Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) program.
With financial support from PEPFAR and USAID, HC3 Cote d’Ivoire has developed and is currently airing two TV spots through national TV stations to encourage men to get tested for HIV and to help reduce the spread of HIV during the tournament. A team of top Ivoirian singers such as Pat Saco, the lead singer of the group 2000 and Yodé, a “zouglou music” signer agreed to lend their star power to the campaign that promotes free HIV testing.
