High Traffic Leads to Extension of Abstract Deadline for International SBCC Summit
Today’s abstract deadline for the first International SBCC Summit resulted in high traffic to our submission website, causing some to be unable to log in and upload their documents. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience. Because of this technical glitch, the abstract submission deadline has now been extended to Friday, October 9.
So there’s now an additional week to submit abstracts for the SBCC Summit taking place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from February 8-10, 2016. Please submit your technical presentations, preformed panels and Comm Talks, as well as concept notes for SBCC Skills-Building workshops. Notifications of acceptance will be distributed by October 30.
Remember, if you register before November 6, you will get a 10 percent discount. And, there’s a special rate for residents of Ethiopia.
Participants also can exhibit at the Market Fair for $400 or host an auxiliary event in a variety of spaces at the conference center.
The Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) and the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia are hosting this this inaugural conference, which will focus on topics, such as HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, family planning/reproductive health, water, sanitation, the environment, gender and more.
