Transforming Gender Norms: How to Include Men and Boys in Social and Behavior Change Communication Approaches for Reproductive Health
Men and boys have the potential to play a pivotal role in promoting healthy behaviors in communities around the world. However, this segment of the population is largely absent from many reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH) interventions and communication strategies.
In our upcoming webinar on “Transforming Gender Norms: Innovative Approaches to Working with Men and Boys for Better RMNCH,” a group of technical experts in gender and RMNCAH programming will present novel approaches to developing effective programs that include men and boys. Each presentation will draw on recent, impactful experiences working in resource-constrained settings and provide useful guidance for public health practitioners working to increase involvement among the male population.
