The P Process Gets a Makeover
The NEW P Process is Available Now on the Health COMpass
When a tool has been in steady use for over thirty years and still in high demand, that’s a pretty good sign that it’s practical, easy-to-use and proven effective time and again.
The Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) has updated the P Process, the highly respected tool originally developed by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (JHU∙CCP), and the basis of many successful social and behavior change communication (SBCC) projects for the past three decades.
The P Process, as many out there know, walks the user through a step-by-step approach to strategic communication – starting with analysis and all the way through design, development, implementation and evaluation.
This logical approach to SBCC forms the foundation of much of the capacity strengthening work conducted by JHU∙CCP and other SBCC practitioners over the past thirty years and promises to continue providing the SBCC community with a sound, scientific basis for their important work.
