Men and boys are often inadequately addressed or entirely absent from reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH) communication strategies, yet are vital to increasing demand for and utilization of RMNCAH products and services. This webinar will bring together technical experts in gender and RMNCAH programming to share best practices and experiences in developing effective programs to reach and work with men and boys in resource-constrained settings. They will present innovative approaches and lessons learned from their global programs, along with best practices for incorporating a gender specific focus to include men and boys in communication and behavior change approaches for reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH) programs will be highlighted.
The Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3), with support from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is hosting a series of three webinars that focus on increasing the demand for life-saving underutilized commodities for reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH) in recognition of the UN Commission on Life-Saving Commodities for Women’s and Children’s Health’s (UNCoLSC) initiative for increased access to 13 life-saving RMNCAH commodities that have the potential of saving the lives of more than six million women and children globally. This is the first in that series.
