Where Do Behavioral Economics and SBCC Fit?

September 13, 2016 - September 15, 2016

Join the Discussion September 13-15.

Is Behavioral Economics (BE) a new paradigm for behavior change? If so, how does it differ from social and behavior change communication (SBCC)? Join Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP), USAID, Catalyst Behavioral Sciences, and ideas42 for a three-day discussion around this topic. Moderators will both ask and answer questions about how BE and SBCC compare, contrast, complement and, potentially, conflict. Bring your thoughts and ideas on how these two approaches can shape the future of social and behavior change.

The discussion will be moderated by:

hhempstone
Hope Hempstone, Senior Behavior Change Advisor, USAID
dGuichon
Dana Guichon, Vice President, ideas42
davidneal
David Neal, Founder and Managing Partner, Catalyst Behavioral Sciences
cjacoby
