SBCC & Innovation: A Case Study Series of NetHope Member Organizations
NetHope, a non-profit dedicated to enabling humanitarian organizations to better serve the developing world through smarter use of technology, is a core partner of the Health Communication Capacity Collaborative. NetHope has a vast member network of 43 non-profits who work around the world across various sectors, such as health, agriculture, and education, and are all using innovative solutions to solve some of the most pressing challenges in the developing world.
Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) is a key area of work for many of NetHope’s work. Whether they have stand-alone SBCC projects or incorporate SBCC into larger projects, NetHope’s members have come up with cutting edge innovations to move SBCC forward.
In order to further explore new innovations, NetHope conducted interviews and created a case study series that explores innovative trends and technology used by its members to advance SBCC.
The four organizations interviewed utilize vastly different technology: from GIS to real-time data collection, NetHope asked each organization to share their experiences, lessons learned, and best practices in order to build a series that is both informative and impactful.
