Charles Kakaire is the Coordinator of the African Network for Strategic Communication in Health and Development (AFRICOMNET). He has over ten years’ experience in emergency relief, development and health communication. Prior to joining AfriComNet, Charles worked with the JHU.CCP Uganda field office as the Communication and Information officer for the CORE Initiative project, and Communication Officer for the World Relief Tsunami emergency response program in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Mr. Kakaire is currently pursuing an MPH (SBCC cohort) at WITS University in South Africa and holds a Bachelor of Mass Communication from Makerere University in Uganda.
