Social and Behavior Change Communication in Integrated Health Programs: A Scoping and Rapid Review
The aim of this review is to understand the nature and scope of social and behavior change communication in integrated health programs. This review includes informational interviews with individuals at organizations that are likely to have implemented integrated programs that have a SBCC component as well as a mapping of the existing peer-reviewed and grey literature about SBCC approaches in integrated programs.
Webinar: The Critical Role of Social and Behavior Change across the Service Delivery Continuum
This webcast event explored successes, challenges and promising approaches in the integration of social and behavior change (SBC) along the service delivery continuum to improve health outcomes. Bangladesh Knowledge Management Initiative: Strengthening Capacity for Social and Behavior Change Communication
This end of project report highlights the Bangladesh Knowledge Management Initiative (BKMI), a three-year (2013-2016) USAID-funded project under the global HC3 project that supported the Government of Bangladesh, USAID implementing partners and other stakeholders to develop strong, consistent and effective social and behavior change communication (SBCC) campaigns and interventions to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Bangladesh.

This case study explains a national FP SBCC campaign that HC3 launched in partnership with Nepal’s Ministry of Health/National Health Education Information Communication Center (NHEICC) and the MOH’s Family Health Division. The campaign, “Parivar Niyojan Smart Bancha Jeewan”/”Family Planning Makes a Smart Life,” started in August 2015 and was tailored specifically to reach young people, migrants and disadvantaged groups.
Enabling the Success of Social and Behavior Change Communication and Social Marketing NGOs: Recommendations from the Expert Consultation on High-Performing SBCC and SM Organizations
This guidance document is the product of a four-day meeting of more than 40 experts in SBCC and Social Marketing – representing 11 local NGOs from Africa, Asia and South America, INGOs and donors – in Washington, D.C., in May 2016. The objective of the meeting was to identify factors most likely to enable the success and sustainability of local SBCC and social marketing organizations and to determine how local NGOs, INGOs and donors can work together most effectively to assure the success and sustainability of local NGOs working in these fields.
