Innovation Webinar #4: Youth Campaigns
Join us March 11 at 11 AM EST for our fourth Innovation in Health Communication Webinar. This installment will focus on the design and implementation of health behavior change campaigns targeting youth.
Presentations and demos will give the audience foundational insight into the nuances of developing campaigns targeted at youth and examples of innovative campaigns that have successfully disseminated messaging on health behaviors in fun and interactive ways.
Panelists include:
Dr. Amy Knoblock-Hahn, registered dietitian at the VA St. Louis Health Care System and faculty at Saint Louis University and Fontbonne University, works with chronic disease self-management programming. Dr. Knoblock-Hahn has research experience with user-centered design technology and the application of such technology to overweight and obese adolescent populations.
Maggie Silver, Health Communication Specialist for the Centers for Disease Control, conducts media relations, public health messaging, and internal communications. She is a key contributor to CDC’s award winning zombie apocalypse campaign and manages the CDC blog, Public Health Matters.
Dr. Regina Traoré-Série, Resident Advisor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs, has had extensive experience with teaching and managing behavior change communication campaigns. She has worked on numerous projects in West Africa including Santé Familiale ET Prévention du SIDA (SFPS) and has served as Director for Center for Research and Communication (CERCOM).
