LARC Materials Released for Adaptation and Use

LARC-Poster-1The Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) has streamlined the process to adapt and use materials officially launched in the webinar: Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptive (LARC) Methods – Expanding the Range of Contraceptive Options for Youth.

Projects and organizations worldwide interested in expanding the contraceptive method mix for young people to include LARCs through generating demand among youth and improving provider-client interaction during contraceptive counseling sessions are free to use and adapt the video, discussion guide, posters and brochure. Organizations wishing to use the materials have two options:

  1. Use the materials as-is, making no changes to the content (e.g., text, images), but adding project/partner logos, or
  2. Adapt the materials, making changes to the content (e.g., text, images) according to local context and needs by removing the USAID and HC3 logos and replacing the logos with the following disclaimer:

“These materials were adapted from USAID-funded materials created under the Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) Project, made possible by the support of the American People. The contents of this adapted material do not reflect the views of USAID or the United States Government. The original materials can be found here: http://healthcommcapacity.org/technical-areas/family-planning/long-acting-reversible-contraceptives-larcs/

If you would like to use the materials in either way, click here to submit your request. Upon approval, HC3 will share the original files with you.
