Deadlines Extended for Abstracts and Early-Bird Registration for First International SBCC Summit

Are you a social and behavior change communication (SBCC) practitioner, student or researcher? If the answer is yes, you don’t want to miss the first International SBCC Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from February 8-10, 2016. If you register before November 6, you will get a 10% discount. And, there’s a special rate for residents of Ethiopia.

The deadline is now October 2, 2015, to submit abstracts for technical presentations, preformed panels and Comm Talks, as well as concept notes for SBCC Skills-Building workshops. Notifications of acceptance will be distributed by October 30.

Participants also can exhibit at the Market Fair for $400 or host an auxiliary event in a variety of spaces at the conference center.

The Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) and the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia are hosting this this inaugural conference, which will focus on topics, such as HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, family planning/reproductive health, water, sanitation, the environment, gender and more.
