Amanda Berman is a Senior Research Assistant in the R&E Division at Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs. She is a Geospatial/GIS research specialist, and her work has primarily focused on HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa as well as access to and the provisioning of HIV services. She also works on family planning, malaria, and other infectious diseases and on projects in Uganda, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Liberia. Amanda is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational French and Luganda.
