The Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3) Nepal held a Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Networking and Interaction event on September 16, 2016.
Nearly 130 people attended the event to discuss networking and sustainability of networking.
Speakers included Mr. Kunj, Deputy Director, National Health Education Information and Communication Centre (NHEICC) and Ron Hess, Pranab Prajbhandari and Moon Pradhan from HC3 Nepal.
Two interactive breakout sessions on “Branding” and “Communication and Networking during the Earthquake” allowed participants to discuss these topics of interest and develop ideas for future Springboard discussions. Springboard is a free, online community for social and behavior change communication professionals.
Nepal is one of the most active country groups on Springboard.
The event concluded with a presentation by Dr. Benjamin Lozare, Director of Training and Capacity Building of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (JHU-CCP), on the value of networking and the importance of evolving with the changes in the communication landscape.
