Health COMpass Publishes Five New SBCC How-To Guides

The Health Communication Capacity Collaborative’s Health COMpass has published five how-to guides related to various elements of developing a social and behavior change communication (SBCC) strategy. These guides are designed to help strengthen the capacity of those designing SBCC programs in the field.

How to Conduct Audience Segmentation

Audience segmentation is one of five new ‘How To’ Guides on the the Health COMpass.

The how-to guides cover everything from qualitative formative research to audience segmentation. The guides walk the user through a step-by-step process and provide a package of additional resources, templates, samples and tips. The Health COMpass plans to publish another six in the near future.

The guides now available include:

The Health COMpass curates high quality SBCC tools and program examples designed using a strategic process that ultimately demonstrated success. Currently housing more than 1,200 items, the Health COMPass also packages materials in recognition of the fact that one single material cannot change or sustain a behavior.

In addition to the how-to guides, it offers Trending Topics, SBCC Spotlights and Campaign Kits and Packages.
