Nearly 600 Abstracts Submitted for Consideration to the International SBCC Summit

The International Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Summit team is busy reviewing nearly 600 abstract submissions submitted by residents of more than 50 countries and from 400 organizations at the local, national, regional and global levels.

These initial signs for an inaugural event are promising and the program plans to showcase a variety of exciting and innovative SBCC work.

Due to high interest in the Summit, we are extending the deadline for abstract acceptance notifications to the week of Nov. 2. We are also extending the deadline for early-bird registration to Nov. 16.

All individuals whose submissions were accepted as either an oral presentation, skills-building workshop, Comm Talk or poster will be notified next week. An additional email will be sent to those not accepted the same day.

Stay tuned for the release of our Summit program and an announcement about keynote presenters. And don’t forget to register to attend the Summit before our early-bird registration period ends Nov. 16. There’s still time to sign up for an exhibit booth and an auxiliary event as well.
